TEA MEDITATION CEREMONY
Date / Time: UPON BOOKING ONLY
Location: Footscray, Hawthorn or at your own venue
An Invitation to Slow Down, Sip, and Be Present
You are warmly invited to a calming and rejuvenating Tea Meditation Ceremony at Su Mei’s Tea Abode—a sanctuary where stillness meets ritual, and every cup tells a story. Step away from the noise and haste of daily life and enter a tranquil space where time slows, breath deepens, and awareness gently unfolds.
This ceremony is more than just tea drinking. It is a meditative journey—a moment of mindful presence guided by the art and ritual of tea. As we brew and pour, listen and sip, we attune ourselves to the subtle language of the senses. Through each delicate aroma, each warming sip, we are invited to return home to ourselves.
Rooted in Eastern traditions and infused with Su Mei’s background in yoga therapy, art therapy, and ancestral wisdom, this ceremony draws from ancient practices that celebrate hospitality, healing, and inner connection. You’ll be guided through intentional breathing, silent reflection, and mindful sipping—all held in a serene and beautifully curated space.
Throughout the session, we will explore:
-
A gentle grounding practice to settle into the body and breath
-
Tea as a ritual of presence—an invitation to let go, receive, and flow
-
Tasting a variety of carefully selected teas, each with their own story and energetic quality
-
Space for quiet reflection or shared insight, allowing connections to form with others in a non-verbal, soulful way
Whether you are new to tea meditation or returning to deepen your practice, this experience offers a sacred pause—a space to simply be. Come as you are, with an open heart and a curious spirit.

Connect to Your Roots With Creativity and Ritual
Return to the Roots is a creative and therapeutic space designed to celebrate identity, culture, and connection—catered, but not exclusively, to Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and individuals who navigate multiple cultural influences.
Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are individuals who have grown up in a blend of cultural environments—whether due to migration, expat life, international schooling, or diverse family backgrounds. They often develop a unique and fluid sense of identity, shaped by multiple cultural influences, which fosters adaptability, resilience, and a deep appreciation for diversity. While they may not fit neatly into one singular culture, their experiences offer them a rich, multifaceted perspective on the world.
Through expressive arts, storytelling, and reflective practices, The Art of Belonging provides an uplifting and affirming space to explore what home and identity mean in a personal and creative way. It embraces the beauty of multicultural experiences, allowing participants to connect with their own narratives, express their authentic selves, and build a sense of belonging that feels true to them. Open to anyone curious about identity and self-expression, this experience invites participants to celebrate their journeys and weave together their unique cultural tapestry with creativity and confidence.
