I enjoyed the session with Su Mei. The session started with some breathwork, yoga therapy which is quite relaxing and then art therapy which I was able to peep into my subconscious mind. The session ended with a sound healing which is soothing and we sat in a circle sharing what has been uncovered. Felt like it was connecting all my body, mind and spirit in one session.. Su Mei also gives off a very calm and chilled vibe. thank you for sharing your energy.
The Renewal Art Retreat was absolutely fantastic. I came away with new knowledge about myself, refreshed after a beautiful relaxing slow paced weekend and met some really lovely people. Su Mei’s art therapy and yoga facilitation skills for group work really shined and Kate’s cooking skills topped off an amazing weekend. I had four yoga therapy sessions with Su Mei, each building on the last. Across the sessions, Su Mei’s empathetic assistance allowed me to identify tensions and imbalances in my body, to stretch without pain and to rest very strategically. After the sessions, I feel mindful of and compassion for my body. Su Mei has a great understanding of the relationship between body and mind and is able to gently reorient this relationship in a way that I have found very therapeutic. It was a relaxing and insightful session with Su Mei when she conducted a yoga therapy with art and sound healing session in KL, Malaysia. We got to connect with our body in a few Yoga poses and had a partner massage. Then moving into art where we connected with our mind and feelings to express ourselves and what’s going on in our lives currently. Followed by soothing sound healing and connecting with each other over tea. Highly recommended for those who would like to have a relaxing time or to slow down in life.
